I picked up one of those tongue scraper things on a whim last month, mostly because my friend kept raving about hers. Honestly, at first it felt kinda weird and awkward, like I was grooming myself with some medieval torture device, lol. But after a week or two, I noticed my mouth felt fresher, especially in the mornings. Coffee breath wasn't as bad either, you know? Curious if anyone else has tried one and noticed a difference or if it's just placebo effect messing with me...

Haha, I totally get what you mean about the medieval torture device feeling! When my dentist first recommended tongue scraping a few years back, I was skeptical and thought it sounded a bit gimmicky. But after giving it a fair shot, I noticed a definite improvement in overall freshnessβ€”especially in the mornings. It also seemed to enhance my sense of taste slightly, which was a pleasant surprise. I don't think it's just placebo either; I've read that it helps remove bacteria and buildup that brushing alone doesn't quite tackle. It might not be a total game changer for everyone, but personally, it's become a staple in my oral hygiene routine. Glad you're noticing some benefits too... stick with it, the awkwardness fades pretty quickly.
