Feeling stuck between DIY whitening and the dentist’s chair

- I’ve only tried the drugstore strips and wow, my teeth were crazy sensitive for days.
- The dentist option sounds way less harsh, but yeah... that price hurts.
- Didn’t know about the numbing goo - makes me feel a bit better about maybe trying it someday.
- Still torn, but hearing it’s not THAT bad helps.

That dentist price tag is brutal, but my wallet’s still recovering from those “affordable” strips, tbh. I tried them before a wedding and couldn’t drink cold water for a week - felt like biting into icicles. The numbing goo sounds tempting, though. If only they had a payment plan for white teeth... or maybe a “buy one tooth, get one free” deal? For now, I’m just embracing the “natural” look (aka coffee stains).

- “If only they had a payment plan for white teeth...” - right? I’d sign up.
- Those strips always leave me with zings too. Not worth it for a week of tooth freeze.
- Honestly, pro whitening works but the price tag’s wild. I just use a straw for coffee now and call it a win.
- If you find that BOGO tooth deal, let me know.

That “tooth freeze” from whitening strips is the worst… I tried them once and my teeth were screaming for days. Honestly, the cost of pro whitening makes me wince more than the sensitivity. I’ve just accepted my coffee stains as a badge of honor at this point. It’s easy to get caught up in wanting a perfect smile, but comfort matters too. If you ever do find a payment plan for white teeth, I’ll be first in line right behind you.

Same here - my wallet hurts just thinking about those dentist prices. I tried the strips too, and it was like chewing ice cubes for a week. I even tried those “natural” hacks (baking soda, coconut oil, all that jazz), but honestly, didn’t see much change. Has anyone actually found a home remedy that works without making your teeth miserable? Or is it just a lost cause if you love coffee as much as I do?
