I hear you on the anxiety—sitting around waiting for the dentist is the worst. I tried one of those kits after chipping a tooth, and honestly, I just kept poking at it, convinced it was going to fall apart or make things worse. It’s hard not to second-guess every little thing. Eating soft foods was my only safe zone too... I lived off mashed potatoes for days. Hang in there, you’re definitely not the only one stressing about it.

Totally get where you're coming from. Those kits are such a weird mix of relief and paranoia—like, you want to do something, but then every bite feels risky. I remember trying one after a filling fell out, and I was so nervous it would just pop off mid-sandwich. Honestly, mashed potatoes sound like a solid choice... I basically survived on soup and yogurt. You’re not alone stressing over it. It’s so much more common than people admit.

I get the paranoia around eating with those kits, but honestly, I found the anxiety faded after a couple of days. For me, the bigger issue was how awkward it felt—like, the texture was just off and I was hyper-aware of every bite. I actually risked eating some soft bread, which maybe wasn’t the best idea, but it held up better than I expected. I know people say stick to soups and yogurt, but sometimes you just want something a little more solid, you know? I do think these kits are a decent short-term fix, but I wouldn’t rely on them for more than a week or two.

Yeah, the texture thing is weird at first—I kept feeling like I had a mouthful of Play-Doh. I totally get why people stick to soups, but honestly, I just cut everything up super small and chewed really carefully on the other side. For me, it was more about not wanting to spend a ton at the dentist right away. The kits held up for about ten days before they started crumbling, so I’d say they’re okay in a pinch if you’re careful. Just gotta watch out for anything sticky or crunchy... learned that one the hard way with a granola bar.

Yeah, I totally get the Play-Doh comparison. Those kits are weirdly soft at first—kind of gross, honestly. I had one last about a week too, but it started breaking down after eating something even slightly chewy.

Same here, except mine was with caramel. Not fun. They’re fine if you’re careful, but definitely not a long-term fix. I still ended up at the dentist sooner than I wanted.
