Keeping my smile bright - tips for veneers upkeep?
Discussion options
I got veneers about six months ago, and honestly, they've been great. But lately, I've noticed they're not looking quite as shiny as they did at first. I've been brushing regularly and avoiding stuff like coffee and red wine (mostly, lol), but still...they seem a bit duller. Wondering if anyone else has noticed this after a while and what you did to get that fresh-from-the-dentist shine back?

Yeah, noticed the same thing around the 8-month mark. Regular toothpaste can be a bit abrasive - switching to a gentle non-abrasive one helped me. Also, my dentist recommended occasional polishing treatments...worked wonders tbh.
Switching toothpaste definitely helped me too, but polishing treatments can get pricey depending on where you live. I've been trying out some DIY stuff at home - like gently brushing with baking soda once in a while - and it seems to help without being harsh. Has anyone tried other budget-friendly methods that worked well? Curious if there are more affordable ways to keep veneers looking fresh between dentist visits...
