That clove oil flavor is wild, right? I tried it once and honestly, I was tasting Christmas for hours—except not in a good way. I get what you mean about worrying it’s too strong. I read somewhere that overdoing it can actually irritate the tissue more, so I just stuck to the tiniest dab when I had to. As for sleep, I was paranoid about the gauze too. Ended up setting alarms to check it, which probably did more harm than good. Sometimes I think the anxiety is worse than the dry socket itself... but yeah, easier said than done.

Clove oil is such a weird one… I tried it because it was way cheaper than the stuff from the dentist, but wow, it really lingers. I ended up using a cotton swab and just barely touching it to the spot—any more and it burned like crazy. For the gauze, I actually switched to a damp tea bag at night (someone online suggested it) and it helped me chill out a bit about the bleeding. The anxiety spiral is real, but doing little things to save money and feel in control made it less overwhelming for me.

That clove oil burn is no joke. I remember thinking, “how can something natural sting so much?” but you’re right, it does linger and numb things a bit. The tea bag trick is underrated—I was skeptical but it helped with both the bleeding and my nerves. It’s tough not to spiral, but those little hacks really do add up.

Clove oil’s wild, right? I tried it after my extraction and honestly, the burn was almost as distracting as the pain itself... but it did take the edge off. The tea bag thing surprised me too—never thought something so basic would help, but it really settled the bleeding. Sometimes it’s just about finding those small comforts when everything feels out of control.

Clove oil is definitely a double-edged sword—some folks swear by it, but I’ve seen a lot of people struggle with that intense burning, just like you mentioned. Sometimes, the discomfort from the oil almost outweighs the relief. I usually suggest a gentler approach, like a saltwater rinse or even just sticking to over-the-counter pain meds for a bit. The tea bag trick is underrated though... it’s simple but can really help with bleeding and swelling. Everyone’s mouth reacts differently, so it’s all about finding what actually gives you some peace.
