I hear you on the peace of mind thing. I get pretty anxious about germs too, especially after my kid brought home some nasty bug last year and we all ended up sick for weeks. I started boiling the brush heads every few days, but honestly, I’m still not sure it makes a huge difference. Sometimes I wonder if I’m just making more work for myself… but then again, when everyone around me is coughing, I feel like I have to do something.

I’ve thought about getting one of those UV sanitizers, but part of me worries it’s just another gadget that’ll end up in a drawer. Still, seeing people say it helps with smell and general cleanliness does make me curious. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but with all the colds going around, I kinda wish there was a foolproof way to keep things clean. For now, I just swap out the heads every month and try not to stress too much, but it’s always in the back of my mind.

Honestly, I used to obsess over sanitizing everything too after my youngest got strep twice in one winter. Tried the UV thing—ended up just collecting dust on the counter. Now I stick with hot water and regular head changes. Haven’t noticed more sickness since I stopped over-sanitizing, if I’m being real. Sometimes simpler is just easier on everyone’s nerves.

That actually makes me feel a lot better. I’ve been stressing about germs, but it’s just exhausting keeping up with all the gadgets and wipes. Do you just rinse with hot water after every use? I keep worrying I’m missing something, but maybe I’m overthinking it.

Honestly, I feel this way all the time. I rinse my toothbrush with hot water after every use, but then I start thinking—should I be doing more? Like, is just water enough? Sometimes I give it a little scrub with my finger or let it air dry somewhere that’s (hopefully) not too gross. I tried those UV sanitizer things for a while, but keeping up with all the steps just stressed me out even more. At some point, I guess you have to draw the line or you’ll drive yourself nuts...

I get nervous about this too. I rinse my electric brush head with hot water, but sometimes I wonder if that’s enough. I’ve read about soaking it in mouthwash or even boiling water, but I’m worried that might damage the plastic. Has anyone actually had issues with just rinsing and air drying? I’m always second-guessing if I should be replacing the brush head more often than every three months...
