I try not to stress about it too much, but it’s tough not to worry sometimes. Those animal flossers are a game changer though.
Honestly, I get the appeal of those animal flossers—kids love them, and anything that gets them to cooperate is a win. But I’ve seen a lot of parents rely on them and still end up with plaque left behind, especially on those tricky back molars. Sometimes the novelty wears off, too. I’d actually argue that getting kids used to regular string floss (even if it’s messier at first) pays off long-term. It’s not as fun, but it works better for those hard-to-reach spots. Just my two cents from seeing a lot of “trouble spots” stick around despite the cute tools.
