Mint is supposed to be the safest bet, but it’s like they cranked up the intensity to mask whatever’s underneath—and it ends up feeling almost medicinal.
That’s exactly what my kid said after his last cleaning—he called it “toothpaste on steroids.” I get why they try to jazz up the flavors, but honestly, it just makes it more obvious something weird’s going on underneath. We once tried bubblegum flavor thinking it’d be gentler, but he ended up making faces the whole time. If there was a “plain” option, I’d be first in line too... less drama at the dentist for sure.
