I’ve been through a lot of toothbrushes over the years, and honestly, I do notice a difference between “soft” and “ultra-soft”—the ultra-soft ones are almost floppy, like they just bend out of the way. I tried using those after some gum issues, but yeah, my teeth never felt really clean. On the other hand, anything firmer makes my gums sore or even bleed a bit. For me, regular soft is kind of the sweet spot. If your kiddo is chewing on them, though, nothing’s going to last long... been there with grandkids too. Sometimes it’s just about finding what works and not stressing too much over the labels.
