I'm stuck between getting my kiddo a toothbrush with his favorite cartoon character (he's obsessed with Paw Patrol right now, you know how it is...) or one of those ergonomic ones that's supposed to be easier for little hands. Anyone tried both? Which worked better for your kids?

We went through something similar with my niece—she was all about Frozen at the time. Honestly, the cartoon toothbrush got her excited about brushing initially, but the novelty wore off pretty quickly. The ergonomic one, though, seemed to help her grip better and brush more effectively on her own. Maybe start with the Paw Patrol one to build enthusiasm, then switch to ergonomic once he's comfortable with the routine? Worked well for us anyway...
