I keep reading about all these fancy mouthwashes, but honestly, I just want something that doesn’t sting like crazy or leave my mouth feeling weirdly dry. Anyone got a favorite that actually helps with sensitivity (and doesn’t taste like medicine)?

Honestly, I don’t get the hype around those pricey “sensitive” mouthwashes. I’ve tried a couple, and most either burned or just made my mouth feel weirdly dry for hours. Ended up switching to plain old ACT for sensitive teeth—no burn, not super minty, and it’s way cheaper than most. Maybe not as fancy, but my teeth aren’t screaming after. Anyone else think the simple stuff works just as well?

I’m right there with you—fancy mouthwashes always seem to promise the world, but most just leave me with a weird tingly feeling or that Sahara Desert dry mouth. I’ve bounced between Sensodyne and a couple “premium” rinses my dentist recommended, but honestly, couldn’t tell much difference besides price and that lingering aftertaste.

ACT for sensitive teeth has been my fallback for a while. No drama, no burning, and my gums don’t feel like they’ve run a marathon afterward. Maybe it’s not “glamorous,” but I’ll take comfort over bells and whistles any day. I do wonder if some of those pricier ones have ingredients that just don’t agree with certain people? Or maybe it’s just really clever marketing...

At this point, I’m convinced simple can be just as effective—especially if you’re already brushing and flossing regularly. My wallet definitely appreciates it too.
