Steamed apples with cinnamon were my go-to, too—honestly, anything that didn’t send me into a panic about breaking another bracket felt like a win. I tried roasted chickpeas once and immediately regretted it... the anxiety alone wasn’t worth the crunch. Softer snacks just feel safer all around.

Haha, I know that feeling. The number of times I eyed a bag of popcorn and just thought, nope, not today... Steamed apples are a solid choice, but have you ever tried mashed bananas with a sprinkle of cocoa? Super soft, and you don’t have to stress about brackets. I get the appeal of crunchy snacks, but honestly, my nerves couldn’t handle it either. Did you ever find any other “safe” snacks that actually felt satisfying?

Totally get what you mean about the crunchy snack anxiety—been there with tortilla chips, and I swear my jaw tenses up just thinking about it. I actually found Greek yogurt with a drizzle of honey surprisingly satisfying, especially when I wanted something creamy but not too sweet. Ever try cottage cheese with berries? Not everyone loves the texture, but it’s gentle on the teeth and surprisingly filling. Don’t beat yourself up over skipping the crunchy stuff—finding what works for you is a win.

I get the appeal of Greek yogurt, but honestly, I worry about the honey. Even a little bit can stick to teeth and feed bacteria if you’re not careful. I’d go for plain yogurt or maybe just fresh fruit mixed in. Less risk, still tasty.

I hear you about honey being sticky, but honestly, I think it’s all about how you eat it. Like, if you’re not just letting it sit on your teeth forever and you rinse or brush after, it’s probably fine in moderation. I’ve actually switched to tossing in some berries or even a bit of cinnamon for flavor. Fruit’s got sugar too, but at least it’s not straight-up syrupy. Anyway, I still love a drizzle of honey sometimes… just gotta be careful, y’know?
