Totally agree on the lukewarm soups—creamy potato was my go-to as well. I also found smoothies pretty helpful, especially banana or avocado-based ones, since they're filling without being harsh. Weirdly enough, herbal teas were hit or miss for me; chamomile was soothing, but peppermint felt too sharp and uncomfortable. Guess it's really about trial and error and listening to your body... everyone's a bit different.

Definitely relate to this—peppermint tea was surprisingly irritating for me too. Warm oatmeal with a bit of honey worked wonders though... gentle on the mouth and kept hunger at bay without discomfort.

Interesting you mention oatmeal—I found that helpful too, especially when cooled down a bit. Did you find temperature made a big difference for you? For me, anything too hot or cold was uncomfortable, so lukewarm foods were my go-to. Also curious if anyone tried smoothies? I blended bananas, yogurt, and a little almond milk—super gentle and filling without irritating the biopsy site. Weirdly enough, I thought citrus fruits would sting, but a tiny bit of frozen mango blended in didn't bother me at all... maybe because it was diluted? Did anyone else notice certain fruits or ingredients being unexpectedly soothing or irritating?

Interesting about the smoothies, but weren't you worried about the almond milk? I avoided nuts completely after mine because I figured even blended, tiny bits might irritate the biopsy spot. Also surprised mango worked for you—I tried a bit of peach thinking it'd be mild, but nope, it stung a little. Maybe it's just me being overly cautious... Did anyone else steer clear of nuts or seeds, or am I just being paranoid?

Honestly, you're not paranoid at all—I totally get where you're coming from. After my biopsy, I thought I'd be brave and tried a banana-strawberry smoothie with chia seeds thinking, "hey, they're tiny, what harm could they do?" Well, let's just say those tiny seeds felt like little ninja stars poking at the spot for hours afterward. Lesson learned.

Funny enough, almond milk actually worked fine for me. Maybe because it was store-bought and super filtered? But mango...yeah, that surprised me too. Tried it once and nope, instant regret—felt like I'd splashed lemon juice on a paper cut. Ouch.

Everyone heals differently though, so don't beat yourself up about being cautious. It's good you're paying attention to what your body's telling you. Better safe than sorry when it comes to mouth stuff—you only make that mistake once (or twice, if you're stubborn like me). Hang in there, it'll get better soon enough.
