Had a biopsy done on a suspicious spot in my mouth last week, and now I'm stuck in that lovely limbo of waiting for results. Doc said it could take anywhere from a few days to two weeks, which feels like forever when you're anxious, you know? Got me wondering, how long did everyone else's biopsy results take to come back?

Quick poll for curiosity's sake:

- Less than a week
- 1-2 weeks
- Over 2 weeks (ugh)
- Can't remember exactly, but felt like eternity

We were in the 1-2 week camp, and yeah, it felt like forever. My daughter had a biopsy on a spot inside her cheek last year, and I swear every day waiting was like a month... I tried distracting us both with movies and ice cream runs, but honestly, nothing really helped until we got that call. Hang in there—hoping you get good news soon.

Yeah, distractions only go so far. When I had my biopsy done (also inside the cheek), I remember trying to keep busy by diving into DIY projects around the house—figured I'd save money and sanity at the same time. But honestly, sanding furniture just gave me more time to think. It's tough, no way around it. Glad you finally got your call, and fingers crossed for anyone else still waiting...

Yeah, I get that—DIY can backfire if your mind's wandering. I tried budgeting spreadsheets to distract myself (weird, I know), but crunching numbers just amplified the anxiety. Curious, did anyone else's results take longer than they were initially told? Mine dragged on a few extra days...

Our experience was similar—doctor initially said about a week, but it ended up being closer to two. I found it helpful to gently follow up after the expected timeframe passed; sometimes labs get backed up or results need extra verification.
