Yeah, I hear ya...sonic brushes can feel like a mini jackhammer sometimes, lol. Have you tried one of those rotating electric brushes instead? My dentist recommended one, and honestly, it's been way gentler on my gums. Might be worth checking out.

Haha, exactly my experience! Switched to a rotating one myself about a year ago after my dentist nudged me that way. Took a bit to get used to the spinning sensation, but now my gums thank me every morning...

I've been wondering about those rotating brushes myself. Tried a sonic one briefly, but yeah, felt like my teeth were vibrating out of my head... Does the rotating type feel gentler overall, or just different? Curious if it's worth another shot.

Honestly, I found rotating brushes a bit rougher at firstβ€”felt like they were scrubbing too hard. Ended up switching back to a soft manual brush; cheaper and easier to control pressure myself... might be worth considering.

I get what you're saying about manual brushes being cheaper and easier to control pressure, but rotating brushes aren't necessarily rougher by default. If you pick one with softer bristles and a pressure sensor, it can actually feel gentlerβ€”just takes some getting used to...
