Agree with you on comfort, but I'd gently argue electric brushes might have an edge when dexterity becomes an issue. My mom initially resisted electric brushes too, but after finding one with softer settings, she's noticed less plaque buildup...just something to consider.

Totally agree with this. My dad was the sameβstubbornly clinging to his trusty manual brush because "it worked fine for 60 years." But once we found a budget-friendly electric model with gentler vibrations, he admitted (begrudgingly, lol) that his teeth felt cleaner. Honestly, if dexterity's slipping, electric brushes can be a real game changer...and you don't even need to splurge on the fancy ones.
Same here, took me a while to switch over myself. Honestly, I thought electric brushes were just gimmicky at first, but my hygienist pointed out areas I was consistently missing. Switched to one with adjustable intensity settings and it made a noticeable differenceβespecially around the back molars. Plus, arthritis in my wrist was making manual brushing a hassle, so the electric brush really eased things up. Never thought I'd say it, but I'm converted now...
