I've been following along quietly, but honestly, this thread's got me reconsidering things too. I've had a countertop model for ages, and while it's great for power and capacity, I sometimes find myself skipping nights because I'm just too tired to deal with the setup and cleanup routine. Maybe cordless would be easier on those lazy evenings? But then again, I worry about battery life—do you find yourself charging yours constantly, or does it hold up okay?

Also, quick side-note: does anyone else struggle with water splashing everywhere? I swear my bathroom mirror has seen better days... If cordless means less splash zone chaos, I might just give it a shot.

Totally relate to the splash issue, my mirror looks like a waterpark sometimes... I switched to cordless about six months ago—battery life's decent, charge it maybe once a week? Setup's quicker too, definitely helps me floss more regularly on tired nights.

I've been using a countertop model for a couple of years now, and yeah, the splash zone is real... my bathroom mirror has seen better days. But honestly, I still prefer countertop over cordless. I've tried both, and while cordless is definitely convenient (especially for travel), I found the countertop models usually have stronger water pressure and a bigger reservoir. Less refilling mid-floss is a win in my book.

That said, I totally get the appeal of cordless—especially if you're tired after a long day and just want to get it done quickly. Battery life has improved a lot lately too, so that's less of an issue than it used to be. Still, for me personally, the extra power and capacity outweigh the convenience factor. Maybe I'm just picky about my flossing routine... or maybe I'm just stubbornly attached to my countertop dinosaur. Either way, glad cordless is working out for you!

I've been using cordless for a while now, mostly because I don't have much counter space to spare. You're right about battery life improving—mine easily lasts a couple weeks now. But I'm curious, do you find the stronger pressure from countertop models makes a noticeable difference in how clean your teeth feel after? I've been debating switching back, but not sure if it's worth giving up the convenience...

I switched from cordless back to countertop a few months ago, and honestly, the stronger pressure does make my teeth feel noticeably cleaner afterward. But now I'm constantly knocking stuff over on my tiny sink... Have you thought about wall-mounting it somehow to save space?
