Interdental brushes are actually my go-to for my kid’s braces. They’re way less hassle than threaders, and my son finds them easier to handle (especially when he’s in a rush). The trick is getting the right size—too small and they don’t do much, too big and they bend or get stuck. We’ve tried a few brands, and honestly, some hold up better than others. If you get the ones with a sturdy wire core, they last at least a week or two before getting too bent out of shape. Still not perfect, but way less mess than the water flosser...
