It boosts protein intake, helps with satiety, and still keeps things gentle.

Totally agree about avocado smoothies—those were a lifesaver for me too. I hadn't thought about almond butter though, that's a great idea. I mostly stuck to avocado blended with coconut milk and a bit of honey...super soothing and tasty. Ice packs were definitely my best friends too, but honestly, having something comforting to eat made the whole recovery feel way less miserable. Wish I'd known about the Greek yogurt trick earlier!

Same here—I discovered Greek yogurt way too late into recovery. I mostly stuck with mashed bananas and oatmeal (cheap and filling!), but avocado smoothies sound amazing...might have to splurge next time.

Greek yogurt is definitely a lifesaver, but avocado smoothies sound like a genius upgrade. Wish I'd thought of that when I had my surgery...I mostly lived off lukewarm soups and applesauce—exciting, right? Hang in there, it gets better soon!

Greek yogurt and avocado smoothies are great, sure, but honestly, I found cold foods a bit overrated after my gum surgery. Warm (not hot!) broth-based soups were way more soothing for me—especially homemade chicken broth with a bit of ginger. It helped reduce swelling and felt comforting. Everyone's different though...maybe I'm just weirdly sensitive to cold stuff. Either way, hope your recovery goes smoothly.

Totally get what you're saying about cold foods. After my gum graft, I thought I'd be all about smoothies and ice cream, but honestly, the cold just made me cringe. Warm broth was a lifesaver for me too—especially chicken noodle soup with soft noodles. Ginger sounds like a smart addition though...wish I'd thought of that at the time.

Recovery can be so different for everyone, and it's definitely not weird to prefer warmth over cold. Your gums are sensitive enough already without adding extra discomfort from temperature extremes. Hang in there—it gets better quicker than you'd think. Hope you're feeling back to normal soon!
