Totally agree about the saltwater rinses, they saved me too. Curious though, did anyone else find certain foods helped ease discomfort or speed things along? I swear yogurt and smoothies made a noticeable difference for me...

Yogurt and smoothies were decent, but honestly, cold applesauce was the real MVP for my kid. Easy to swallow, soothing, and seemed to help with swelling. Plus, less sugar than most smoothies...win-win.

Cold applesauce was a lifesaver for my daughter too after her gum surgery. We tried smoothies first, but she complained they were too cold and sugary—applesauce hit that sweet spot of soothing without discomfort. Glad to hear it worked for your kid as well!

Couldn't agree more—applesauce was our go-to as well. Smoothies sounded good in theory, but after dropping serious cash on berries and yogurt, my wallet was hurting more than my mouth. 😂 Plus, cold applesauce cups were budget-friendly, easy to grab, and honestly...pretty tasty even without gum surgery. Glad I'm not the only one who discovered this hidden gem.

Haha, seriously felt this. I stocked up on fancy smoothie ingredients thinking I'd be sipping gourmet shakes all week, but after one attempt (and a blender explosion that looked like a crime scene), I quickly switched gears. Ended up surviving mostly on pudding cups and mashed potatoes—cheap, easy, and zero kitchen disasters. Applesauce sounds way smarter...wish I'd thought of that sooner.
