So last night I dreamed I was at a fancy dinner party, right, and halfway through dessert I suddenly remembered I left my retainer wrapped in a napkin on the table. Panic mode activated, I'm digging through piles of fancy linen napkins, waiters are staring, guests whispering... total nightmare scenario. Woke up clutching my pillow lol. Anyone else have weird retainer anxiety dreams or awkward real-life stories? Curious if it's just me or a universal retainer-wearer thing.

Haha, been there! Once, at a friend's wedding reception, I actually did leave my retainer wrapped in a napkin. Realized it halfway home and had to awkwardly call the venue to ask if they'd found it. The embarrassment was real, but turns out the staff were super understanding—apparently, it happens way more often than you'd think. So yeah, definitely not just you.
