Okay, I gotta vent about this. Bought one of those LED teeth whitening thingies online—looked sleek and futuristic, thought I'd finally get that Hollywood smile, you know? But honestly, it feels like I'm holding some weird alien gadget in my mouth. Plus, it's kinda uncomfortable and drooly (sorry TMI). Not even sure it's doing much after a week. Anyone else feel like these kits are more gimmick than glow-up?

Haha, been there myself... felt like I was auditioning for a sci-fi flick every night. Honestly, give it a bit more time—mine took about two weeks before I noticed any difference. Hang in there!

Are you sure you're not using too much gel? I had the drool issue too until I cut back a bit... maybe try using less and see if that helps with comfort. Did your kit come with clear instructions on amounts?

That's a good point about the gel amount—I had a similar experience when I first started whitening. Even though my kit had instructions, they weren't exactly clear about how much gel to use per tray. I initially assumed more gel meant quicker results, but it mostly just led to discomfort and excess saliva. Once I scaled back to just a thin line along the front of each tray, things improved significantly. Also, make sure the trays fit snugly; if they're loose, saliva tends to build up more easily. It might feel a bit strange at first, but after a few sessions, you'll find your sweet spot. Hope this helps you get more comfortable with it!
