I've been trying to brighten up my smile lately, and here's what I've been doing: first, brushing normally, then applying the gel from one of those LED kits (you know, the ones all over Instagram), leaving it on for about 15 mins, rinsing, and repeating every night. Seems decent so far, but wondering if anyone's got a better routine or tips that actually work faster?
Sounds like you're already on the right track... have you noticed any sensitivity from doing it every night? I've heard spacing it out a bit can help avoid that and still give pretty solid results. Keep at it though, consistency usually pays off.
Have you had any sensitivity yet? Some people get lucky, but I've seen plenty who end up with sore gums or sensitive teeth from nightly whitening. Maybe ease off a bit...better safe than sorry, trust me!

Yeah, gotta agree here. I went full steam ahead with nightly whitening strips last yearβfelt fine at first, but after about a week my teeth were super sensitive to cold drinks. Dialed it back to every other night and things improved pretty quickly. Just listen to your body and adjust as needed...worked for me.
Good points made above. I've tried a few whitening methods myself over the years, and sensitivity was always my main issue too. One thing that helped me was using a toothpaste specifically for sensitive teeth alongside the whitening routine. Also, spacing out treatments definitely makes a differenceβevery other day or even every third day worked better for me personally. Just something to consider if you start noticing any discomfort.
