I get the idea of gentle reminders, but honestly, sometimes kids just find their own way when they're ready. My niece sucked her thumb until she was almost eightβ€”her parents tried everything, gentle nudges, distractions, even rewards... nothing stuck. Then one day she just stopped on her own. No dental issues at all. Dentists might mean well, but maybe they're overly cautious sometimes? Kids seem pretty resilient to me.
