Had a tooth pulled yesterday afternoon, and everything seemed fine at first, but then late last night it started bleeding again kinda heavy. Freaked me out a bit, you know? Has anyone else had this happen after an extraction?

Yeah, had something similar happen to me a while back. Did you maybe rinse your mouth too vigorously or eat something hot? My dentist said that can mess up the clot and cause bleeding again. Try biting down gently on some damp gauze for like 20-30 mins, it worked for me. But if it doesn't slow down soon or you're still worried, better safe than sorry—maybe call your dentist just to check?

Yeah, gauze can help, but honestly, I found a damp tea bag worked even better—something about the tannins helps clotting faster. Plus, cheaper than gauze if you're watching your budget... just my two cents.

Totally agree about the tea bag trick, it's saved me a few times. Just make sure it's black tea though—herbal teas don't have the tannins, so they won't really help with clotting. Learned that one the hard way...
