I was skeptical about aloe toothpaste too, but my dentist actually recommended it when I mentioned my gums were feeling sensitive. It felt a little strange at first—definitely not your typical toothpaste—but after a week or so, I noticed my gums were less irritated. Didn't see any dramatic whitening or anything, but it was soothing and gentle. Might be worth trying if regular toothpaste feels harsh sometimes...

I was actually curious about aloe toothpaste because regular toothpaste has been bothering me lately too. Last time I went to the dentist, I mentioned that my gums feel irritated after brushing, and he just recommended switching to a softer brush—but honestly, it hasn't helped much. I've tried sensitive toothpastes before, but they always leave a weird taste in my mouth afterward. Aloe sounds interesting, though I'm a bit nervous about trying something so different. Did you notice if it left any weird aftertaste or texture afterward? I'm pretty picky about that stuff, and I can't stand feeling like there's residue left behind. Also, is it one of those toothpastes that doesn't foam much? I know foaming doesn't really mean cleaner teeth, but psychologically it feels like it's doing something...

I understand your concern about the aftertaste and texture—I've tried aloe toothpaste myself, and honestly, it didn't leave much of an aftertaste for me. It does have a slightly different feel compared to regular toothpaste, less foamy for sure, but I got used to it quickly. Have you considered toothpaste with baking soda? It's gentle on gums and leaves your mouth feeling really clean without any residue. Might be worth a shot if aloe doesn't pan out...

I've tried baking soda toothpaste too, and while it does leave your mouth feeling super clean, I found the taste a bit salty at first... took me a few days to get used to it. Still, way better than some of the herbal ones I've tried—those were rough.

Haha, totally feel you on the herbal toothpaste struggle... I remember trying one that tasted like a weird mix of grass and licorice. Took me ages to finish the tube because I couldn't bring myself to waste it. Baking soda toothpaste was definitely salty at first for me too, but after a week or so, I barely noticed it anymore. Hang in there—it gets easier!
