Haha, spraying myself in the eye sounds way too familiar... I swear, my mirror got more toothpaste than my teeth at first. Honestly, the best thing I found was one of those little handheld mirrors—saved me from leaning awkwardly over the sink and making even more mess. After a week or two, you'll be a pro and wonder why it ever seemed tricky. You've totally got this.

Haha, glad I'm not the only one who had toothpaste wars with the mirror. Seriously, the first few days I felt like a toddler learning to brush again—paste everywhere except where it should be. Handheld mirrors definitely help, but I also found that leaning slightly forward rather than hovering directly over the sink made things easier. Weirdly enough, humming a song or something while brushing seemed to distract me from overthinking the whole braces-cleaning mission. After a bit, it becomes second nature, but man, those first few days... pure comedy gold. Hang in there, you're definitely not alone in this awkward phase!

Haha, toothpaste wars—perfect description. Leaning forward definitely helps, but honestly, I found that closing my eyes for a sec when brushing the tricky spots stopped me from overthinking it. Sounds risky, but hey, fewer mirror cleanups afterward...

Haha, toothpaste wars is spot on. I tried the eyes-closed trick once and nearly brushed my nose instead... but leaning forward has been a lifesaver for me too. Honestly, whatever keeps the mirror clean and the toothpaste off my shirt is a win in my book.

Haha, the eyes-closed method sounds a bit risky—glad you didn't end up with toothpaste in your eye! Leaning forward definitely helps, though I still get paranoid about missing spots or brushing too hard around brackets. I've found using a smaller, softer toothbrush head makes navigating the braces easier and reduces my anxiety about damaging the wires. Mirror cleanliness is a bonus, but honestly, just getting through each brushing session without incident feels like a small victory to me...
