Finally found something that actually helps my breath stay fresh

I've always been kinda paranoid about my breath, especially after lunch at work or when I'm out with friends. Tried all sorts of gums and mints, but they only mask the issue for a bit. Anyway, a friend recommended this mouthwash called TheraBreath, and honestly, I was skeptical at first. But after using it for about two weeks, I noticed a real difference. My mouth feels cleaner, and even my gums seem healthier—less sensitive and no more bleeding when I brush.

The taste is a bit weird at first, kinda medicinal, but you get used to it pretty quick. I mean, it's not exactly minty fresh, but it does the job better than anything else I've tried. Curious if anyone else has tried this stuff or found something similar that works for them.

TheraBreath is pretty solid stuff—definitely seen good results with patients who've tried it. Personally, I had similar breath issues after coffee breaks at work... gums were alright, but breath was always iffy. Started using CloSYS mouthwash a while back, and it made a noticeable difference for me too. Taste-wise, it's pretty neutral (almost like rinsing with water), so might be worth checking out if the medicinal flavor bugs you?

TheraBreath and CloSYS are decent for sure, but honestly, I've tried both and neither really blew me away. CloSYS was a bit too neutral for my taste—it felt like rinsing with tap water, lol. I get the appeal if you're sensitive to strong flavors, but personally, I like feeling that minty freshness after rinsing.

What genuinely surprised me was switching up my toothpaste instead. I started using a toothpaste with zinc citrate (think it was a Crest one?), and that made a huge difference in how long my breath stayed fresh after coffee or lunch breaks. Apparently zinc helps neutralize sulfur compounds or something science-y like that... whatever it does, it seems to work better for me than just mouthwash alone.

Not knocking TheraBreath or CloSYS—if they work, awesome—but sometimes it's worth looking beyond mouthwash if you're still not quite satisfied. Plus, brushing your tongue is underrated as heck... gross at first, but weirdly satisfying once you get used to it.

Have you tried toothpaste with stannous fluoride instead of zinc citrate? Zinc's decent, but I found stannous fluoride tackles breath issues even better... though it can leave a weird aftertaste sometimes. Curious if anyone else noticed the same thing.

I've used TheraBreath too and agree it's pretty effective. Took me a while to get past the taste, but now I barely notice it. About the stannous fluoride toothpaste—yeah, it does help with breath issues, but I found it made my teeth feel kinda gritty afterward. Personally, I alternate between TheraBreath and a gentle fluoride toothpaste, and that's been working great for me. Glad you found something that helps; fresh breath really boosts confidence.
