I chipped a front tooth on a beer bottle (don’t ask), and weirdly, it never bothered me. No pain, no sensitivity, nothing. Dentist said it was “cosmetic” and just smoothed it out, so I got lucky that time. But I’ve had friends who ignored chips and ended up needing crowns. Guess it depends on where the chip is and how deep—definitely feels like rolling the dice though. Anyone else notice those tiny chips seem to collect more plaque? That’s what finally bugged me into getting mine checked out.
