Have you noticed certain toppings are worse than others when you're wearing aligners? I mean, bacon bits sound rough, but I've had way more trouble with spinach or herbs getting stuck in mine—it's like they magnetically cling to the trays. Ever had that awkward moment where you smile and realize later you've been showing off your lunch all afternoon...?

Spinach is sneaky like that, isn't it? I swear, every time I have pesto or anything with tiny herbs, it's like they're on a mission to embarrass me. Funny enough, bacon bits haven't been my nemesis—it's popcorn kernels. Had a movie night once and spent half the film discreetly trying to dislodge one stubborn kernel from my aligner... lesson learned. Now I stick to softer snacks when I'm out in public.

Popcorn kernels are tricky, but for me it's chia seeds. Had a smoothie once and spent ages subtly trying to rinse them out of my aligner in a cafe bathroom... awkward. Now smoothies are strictly an at-home snack.

Totally get the chia seed struggle—been there myself. For me, though, spinach smoothies are the sneaky culprit. You'd think leafy greens wouldn't be a big deal, but tiny bits always wedge themselves into my aligners. I once spent ten minutes discreetly picking at my teeth in the car mirror before a meeting... not my finest moment. Now I blend extra thoroughly or stick to clear drinks when I'm out. Live and learn, right?

Haha, relatable. I've had patients mention berries too—especially raspberries. Those tiny seeds are sneaky, and you'd think they'd rinse out easily, but nope... they cling stubbornly. Smoothie struggles are real.
