Okay, so I spilled coffee on my favorite white shirt (typical me, right?) and after panicking a bit, I tried mixing dish soap, baking soda, and hydrogen peroxide. Worked like magic, seriously. Anyone else got secret stain hacks?

That's a great trick, glad your shirt survived! I've had luck with white vinegar for wine stains, but does anyone know if your mix works on ink too? I ruined a good shirt last week...

I've had mixed luck with vinegar on ink stains, honestly... ink can be pretty stubborn. A while back, I accidentally left a pen in my scrubs pocket (typical me 🙄), and it leaked everywhere. Someone recommended rubbing alcohol, and surprisingly, it worked wonders. Just dabbed it gently with a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol until the ink started lifting, then rinsed with cold water. Had to repeat a couple times, but eventually got most of it out. Might wanna test a small hidden area first though, especially if it's colored fabricβ€”alcohol can sometimes fade colors a bit.

Hope your shirt makes it through! Ink stains are such a pain...

I've had similar experiences with ink stainsβ€”vinegar never really did the trick for me either. Rubbing alcohol definitely seems more effective, but I've noticed it can sometimes leave a faint mark or discoloration, especially on delicate fabrics. Has anyone tried hairspray? I've heard mixed reviews about it working wonders or making things worse... curious if it's worth giving a shot next time I'm dealing with stubborn ink stains.

Hairspray used to be my mom's go-to trick for ink stains, and honestly, it worked pretty well most of the time. But heads upβ€”it depends a lot on the hairspray brand. Some newer ones don't have as much alcohol, so they don't lift stains as effectively. Learned that the hard way when my toddler decided to "decorate" my couch cushions with a Sharpie... rubbing alcohol saved me that day, but hairspray barely made a dent.
