Thinking about getting a mouthguard—anyone had good results?

Been waking up lately with jaw pain and headaches, dentist mentioned I might be grinding my teeth at night. She suggested trying a mouthguard, but I'm kinda skeptical it'll actually help. Curious if anyone here has tried one and noticed a real difference? Or is it just another thing that'll end up collecting dust on my nightstand, lol.

Haha, I totally get the skepticism—I felt exactly the same way at first. But honestly, after a week or two of using mine consistently, I noticed a huge improvement. My jaw pain eased up significantly, and those morning headaches pretty much disappeared. It does take a bit of getting used to at first (felt weird sleeping with something in my mouth), but now I can't imagine going without it. Definitely worth giving it a shot...might surprise you!

I've been thinking about getting one too, but I'm still on the fence. My dentist recommended it for teeth grinding, but I'm worried it'll feel uncomfortable or make it harder to fall asleep. Did you notice any sleep issues when you first started using yours? Just don't wanna spend money on something I'll end up ditching after a few nights...

Totally get that worry—I was skeptical at first too. Honestly, the first couple nights felt kinda weird, but after about a week I barely noticed it. Now I sleep way better and wake up without jaw pain. Worth sticking it out imo.
