That caramel situation hits way too close to home. The first time I tried biting into a sandwich with my new set, I felt like an amateur bomb squad technician—except the stakes were my dignity and lunch. It’s wild how much muscle control you suddenly have to think about. For me, it helped to practice with softer foods and gradually work up to chewier stuff. I still avoid taffy like it’s radioactive, though… no shame in that. Honestly, your jaw does adapt over time, but yeah, figuring out what’s “safe” is kind of a weird learning curve.
