That clove oil aftertaste can definitely linger, but honestly, I'd take that over the sharp pain any day. Have you tried gently rinsing with warm salt water? Sometimes it helps cut down the taste a bit. The background ache is normal, but if it starts ramping up again or you get a bad smell, that’s worth checking out. Clove oil flavor drives some people nuts, but for most, it fades in a few days—unless the dressing gets stuck or something. Ever notice if eating or drinking makes the taste worse?

I’m actually super paranoid about the dressing getting stuck since I can’t really afford another visit right now. Did anyone else freak out about accidentally dislodging it when eating? I keep overthinking every bite.

Totally get that. I was super nervous about messing up the dressing too, especially since a second visit wasn’t really in my budget. I stuck to soft foods and chewed on the opposite side for a few days—felt like I was babying it, but it helped me worry less. The anxiety is real, but it does get easier once you realize the dressing isn’t as fragile as it seems. Just take it slow and you’ll be fine.
