How long does your toothbrush actually take to charge?

Leaving it on the charger all the time is honestly what I do too, even though I know it’s not supposed to be great for the battery in the long run. But who wants to risk running out of juice right before bed? The blinking light issue drives me nuts—why can’t they just give us a simple “full” indicator? I’ve tried different brands and, like you said, the charge times aren’t drastically better. If anything, I wish these companies would focus more on battery life than on adding random “smart” features nobody asked for.

Totally feel you on that. I’m always guessing if my kid’s toothbrush is actually charged or not, and the light doesn’t help much. Leaving it plugged in all the time seems easiest, even if it’s not ideal for the battery. I’d take longer battery life over “smart” brushing stats any day. My son’s old brush lasted forever between charges, but now with these new features, we’re charging way more often. Just seems like a step backward sometimes...

That’s what I do too—just leave it sitting on the charger and hope for the best. I remember my old brush held a charge for almost two weeks, but these newer ones need juice way more often. Honestly, I’d rather save money by not replacing batteries so much, but all the new “features” just seem to drain it quicker. I kinda miss when things were simpler and lasted longer... progress isn’t always better for the wallet.

Can definitely relate to that feeling. All these new brush models with timers and Bluetooth—nice in theory, but I swear mine barely lasts a week before needing a charge now. From a battery health standpoint, leaving it plugged in all the time probably isn’t perfect, but honestly, it’s just more convenient. As long as it keeps your brushing routine consistent, that’s what really matters for oral health. The tech is cool, but I do miss the days when you could forget about charging for ages...

Yeah, I hear you—my last “dumb” toothbrush lasted forever on a single AA battery, but now my smart one needs juice every few days if I’m using all the features. I kinda like the reminders and app stats, but sometimes I wonder if it’s overkill. Out of curiosity, has anyone actually noticed their brushing getting better with all the tech, or is it just a fancy timer at this point?
