That weird tingling drove me nuts for a while, honestly. After my apicoectomy, I had pins-and-needles along my gum and chin for a good month. My endodontist said it was totally normal, but I was convinced something went wrong. Turns out, he was right—eventually it faded. I do think nerves can be stubborn, especially if they got jostled. In my case, patience really was the best medicine, even though I’m not great at waiting things out.
