That numb, tingly feeling drove me nuts too—mine was more on my lower lip and jaw, like I'd just left the dentist’s office and the Novocain never wore off. It lingered for about two weeks after my apicoectomy, which honestly freaked me out a bit. My oral surgeon said it’s usually nerve irritation and should fade, but the uncertainty made it tough to relax.

I kept second-guessing everything I did—like, should I have skipped that cup of tea? Did I sleep on that side too much? But in the end, I think it just needed time. Out of curiosity, did your dentist mention anything about nerve mapping or imaging before the procedure? I read some places use more advanced scans to see exactly where nerves are, but mine just did a regular x-ray. Wondering if that makes a difference in how often these weird sensations happen.
