My dentist mentioned I should start using a fluoride mouthwash, but honestly, standing in front of that endless shelf at the store is overwhelming. I mean, they all claim they're "dentist recommended," right? But I'm pretty sure my dentist didn't recommend 50 different brands, lol. Anyone have one their dentist specifically mentioned or that you've been using and actually noticed a difference? Just trying to narrow down the options here...

My dentist casually mentioned ACT once, but honestly, I haven't tried it yet - still staring at the shelf like you, haha. Do you think brand really matters, or is fluoride just fluoride...?

I’d push back a bit on “fluoride is just fluoride.” Brand isn’t everything, but concentration and whether it has the ADA Seal can matter. I’d compare those on the label rather than assume every rinse is equivalent. ACT may be fine, but your dentist or pharmacist can confirm what strength fits you.
