That “hardware upgrade” feeling is so real. I still remember the first time I tried to eat a sandwich after getting braces—felt like my mouth was full of spare parts and nothing fit right. The water flosser trick made me laugh... I’ve definitely soaked a shirt or two trying to figure out the right angle. Even now, years later, some days I wish I could just take the whole contraption off for a break. But you’re right, the payoff is huge. I’d almost forgotten what it was like to bite into an apple without worrying about snapping something loose.
