Yeah, I tried the whole “just watch TV” thing too, but all it did was make me notice how much my teeth hurt every time I laughed. Anyone else try eating ice cream just for the numbing effect? Not sure if that’s dentist-approved, but it helped more than Netflix ever did.
Ice cream was my go-to too, honestly. Cold stuff just numbs everything for a bit, way better than trying to distract myself. My ortho said popsicles are okay in moderation, but to watch the sugar. I tried frozen grapes once—surprisingly decent.
