I totally get the zoning out thing—those waiting rooms are almost too relaxing, and then by the time I’m in the chair, my brain just blanks. I’ve left appointments kicking myself for not asking about costs or payment plans, which is huge for me since I’m trying to budget everything. Now I keep a note on my phone with questions so I don’t forget. Even then, sometimes I’ll remember something later and just call or email. Most offices have been pretty cool about getting back to me, thankfully.
