Been noticing my gums receding a bit lately... kinda freaked me out tbh. Quick poll: anyone here actually managed to improve their gum situation, or is it more like damage control at this point? Curious what worked for you guys.
Had some gum recession a couple years back and was pretty concerned myself. Did a bunch of research and honestly, it's mostly damage control once the gums have receded significantly. That said, I switched to a softer toothbrush, started flossing more gently (I was way too aggressive before), and added a water flosser to my routine. It didn't completely reverse things, but it definitely stabilized the situationβno further recession since then.
One thing I'm still curious about is whether anyone here's tried oil pulling? I've seen mixed reviews onlineβsome swear by it, others say it's just hype. Would love to hear first-hand experiences if anyone gave it a shot...
