Eating with aligners: taking them out every meal vs. snacking less

When I first got my clear aligners, I figured I'd just pop them out for every meal and snack like usual. But honestly, it's kind of a hassle to keep removing them for every little thing, especially at work or when I'm out. Now I'm torn between sticking to three meals a day (so less snacking, which is probably healthier anyway) or just dealing with the constant in-and-out routine. For anyone who's been through it—do you prefer cutting down on snacks or are you cool with taking them out all the time? Which feels less annoying in the long run?

Eating out was awkward for me at first, too. Here’s what I do: I bring a cheap travel toothbrush and toothpaste in a zip bag. After eating, I’ll just pop into the bathroom for a quick brush—nothing fancy, just enough to get by. If the place is busy or the bathroom’s gross, I’ll rinse with water and brush better when I get home. It’s not perfect, but it keeps costs down and I don’t stress as much about missing a full clean every single time.
