Switched from smoking to vaping about 8 months ago, and honestly, my gums quit bleeding every time I brushed. Dentist even noticed less staining. Didn’t expect such a difference, tbh. Anyone else notice weird oral health perks after making the switch?

Yeah, we actually saw something similar with my teen. They switched to vaping after years of sneaking cigarettes, and I was honestly surprised by how quickly their gums improved. Used to be a lot of bleeding and sore spots, but within a couple months—almost none. Dentist mentioned less tartar too. I’m not saying vaping’s perfect, but just from what I’ve seen, way fewer mouth issues compared to smoking. Still keep an eye on it though... not everything about vaping is harmless.

Can confirm—swapping cigarettes for a vape actually made a difference for my gums too. Less bleeding, and my dentist noticed less plaque at my last cleaning. Still, I get a bit of dryness now and then. Not perfect, but definitely less harsh than smoking.
