Yikes, that sounds rough... reminds me of when my daughter first got her dentures. We were on a family road trip and stopped at one of those roadside diners. She was still getting used to them and forgot her adhesive altogether. Poor kid spent the whole meal nibbling fries and sipping milkshakes, trying not to laugh too hard. Now we stash extra adhesive everywhere—car glovebox, purse, backpack—you name it. Better safe than sorry, right?

I totally get the logic behind stashing adhesive everywhere, but honestly, isn't that a bit much? I mean, sure, being prepared is great, but carrying adhesive in every bag and compartment seems like overkill. Maybe just having one reliable spot—like your purse or glovebox—would be enough. My dad has dentures too, and he just keeps a small emergency kit in his travel bag. Works fine for him, and we've never had any major mishaps... yet.

Yeah, I agree with this. When I first got dentures, I was paranoid and had adhesive tubes stashed everywhere—my bag, car, even my desk drawer at work. But honestly, after a while, I realized it was just costing me extra money and causing unnecessary clutter. Now I just keep a small tube in my travel kit. Haven't had any awkward moments yet... fingers crossed. Has anyone actually ever needed adhesive urgently and couldn't find it?

I totally get the appeal of simplifying things, but honestly, I still feel safer having a backup stash. Last summer, I was at a friend's wedding and realized halfway through dinner that my adhesive wasn't holding up (probably because of the heat or something). I panicked and had to sneak out to the car to grab my spare tube. It was embarrassing enough just slipping away quietly...can't imagine if I'd had nothing at all. Guess I'm not ready to downsize yet!

I get the backup thing, but honestly, carrying extra stuff everywhere stresses me out more. I just keep a tiny tube in my pocket or purse—less hassle, less anxiety. Hasn't failed me yet...knock on wood.
