Traveling with dentures - anyone else had awkward moments?

Last summer I was on vacation and totally forgot my denture adhesive at home, ended up scrambling around some tiny town pharmacy looking for it...pretty embarrassing. Has something like this happened to anyone else?

Haha, your story totally reminded me of my first trip after getting dentures. I was super paranoid about forgetting stuff, so I made this detailed checklist - like, ridiculously detailed. Toothbrush? Check. Denture cleaner tablets? Double-check. Adhesive? Triple-check. Felt pretty proud of myself until I realized halfway through the flight that I'd left the actual dentures soaking in the bathroom at home... 🤦♂️
Spent the first day of vacation awkwardly mumbling and smiling with my mouth closed, trying to find a dentist who could help me out temporarily. Luckily, found someone who sorted me out with a quick fix, but man, lesson learned.
Now I'm curious - does anyone else have a special packing routine or trick to avoid denture-related disasters when traveling? Or am I just overly anxious about it all...?
