Yeah, rinsing with water definitely helps a bitβ€”my dentist actually recommended it too. I've also heard waiting about 30 mins before brushing after soda or acidic drinks can protect your enamel... something about acidity softening teeth temporarily? Worth looking into anyway.

Yeah, that's spot-on advice. My dentist explained it similarlyβ€”brushing immediately after acidic drinks can actually scrub away softened enamel, doing more harm than good. I used to brush right after my morning juice, thinking I was being proactive, but turns out I was making things worse. Now I wait a bit and rinse with water first. Curious though, does anyone know if using mouthwash right after soda has the same issue?
