Dentures vs. Implants: Which Feels More Like “You”?

That’s really reassuring to hear about your daughter bouncing back after the implant. I get what you mean about the confidence boost - my dentist keeps saying that’s a big advantage, but it’s hard to put a price on it when you’re staring at the bill. Did she have any trouble with speech or eating at first? I’m weighing my options and honestly, the cost of implants is holding me back. I’ve had partials before and they were fine, but sometimes they felt a bit loose and I worried about them shifting when I ate certain foods.

How long did it actually take for her to feel “normal” with the implant? And did insurance help at all, or was it mostly out-of-pocket? I’m practical about this stuff - if partials work and don’t cause problems, maybe that’s enough. But hearing stories like yours makes me wonder if the extra expense is worth it in the long run, especially for younger folks. It’s just tough to know which way to go without trying both, you know?
