Had a gum graft done about 5 years ago, and honestly, I wish someone had told me earlier about using a super soft toothbrush afterward. My dentist mentioned it briefly, but I didn't really take it seriously until I noticed some sensitivity creeping back. Switched to one of those ultra-soft brushes (the kind that feels almost too gentle to do anything, haha), and it made a huge difference. Also, I found out that gently massaging the gums with your finger after brushing seems to help keep things healthy and feeling normal.
Curious if other folks who've had gum grafts found any little tricks or habits that helped them maintain good results over the years. Or maybe stuff you wish you'd known sooner?

Totally agree about the ultra-soft brush. I had my gum graft around 7 years ago, and honestly, I was terrified of messing something up afterward. One thing I learned (the hard way) was avoiding acidic foods/drinks too soon after the graft healed. Citrus juices made my gums feel irritated and sensitive for days. Wish someone had warned me about that earlier... would've saved me a lot of anxiety.
