That sensitivity is the worst—I’ve had it too, especially after using those strips for a week straight. I’ve always wondered if the patchiness is worse on teeth that aren’t perfectly aligned? Or maybe it’s just how the strips fit. Anyone ever have luck with the paint-on pens instead?

- Tried both strips and pens. Strips made my teeth super sensitive, especially near the gums.
- Noticed patchy spots too, mostly where my teeth overlap a bit. Guess the strips just can’t reach everywhere.
- Paint-on pens were easier for those weird spots between teeth, but honestly, results weren’t as dramatic.
- Pens didn’t make my teeth hurt though, which was a win.
- If you’ve got crooked teeth, I’d say pens are less annoying, but you gotta use them more often.
- Still chasing that even white look… not sure if it’s actually possible without pro stuff.

Totally get what you mean about the patchy spots—my teeth overlap a bit too, and strips just don’t sit flat. I actually had some white “streaks” after a week, which looked worse than before. Pens are less hassle for weird angles, but yeah, not as bright. Honestly, unless your teeth are super straight, strips seem more trouble than they’re worth. I’m starting to think pro whitening is the only way to get everything even.

Yeah, those streaks are the worst—been there. I tried strips too and with my crowded teeth, they just never sat right. Honestly, I felt like I was highlighting all the crooked bits instead of whitening them. I get why people love pro whitening for even results, but it’s pricey. Pens helped a bit for me in the meantime, just not as dramatic. Don’t feel bad—patchiness happens to way more people than you’d think.

Funny, I actually had the opposite experience with strips—my teeth are pretty straight but have weird surface stains, and the strips worked surprisingly well for me. I did get a little patchiness at first, but after a couple more uses it evened out. Maybe it’s just one of those things where everyone’s teeth react differently? I do get why crowded teeth would make strips tricky though... Have you ever tried those custom trays from the dentist? They’re not cheap, but I found them way less fiddly than strips or pens.
